Getting STARTED
Get ready to dive into the art of bonsai with our all-inclusive DIY Bonsai Kits! These kits provide everything you need to craft and nurture your very own miniature tree, right from the comfort of your home.
Kit includes: Nursery stock tree, wooden chopstick, soil, unglazed ceramic pot.
Please note: it is perfectly normal for a bonsai tree to drop leaves during transit.
If this occurs, reach out to customer support (info@bonsaibar.com) with a photo of your tree, and in the meantime place your tree in your sunniest window while waiting for us to answer your email.
When you are ready to start, get a pair of gardening shears or scissors, and a pair of pliers. Then press play on the video above to get started!
NEXT STEPS
Once you've completed styling your tree, make sure to get it registered with us so that you can have access to our support services.
If you ever have any questions regarding the health of your tree, you can book a 15 minute complimentary "Tree-iage" video call with our bonsai experts. Also when you register your tree, your tree is then covered under our Tree Guarantee (so if it dies for any reason, we will replace it for free).
After Care
Just like outdoor trees, indoor bonsai trees need plenty of sunlight and water to stay healthy. Please watch the following care instruction videos so that your bonsai grows and thrives.
Fertilizer is also highly recommended to keep your bonsai growing and healthy. We have slow-release fertilizer available for purchase in our shop along with additional supplies:
