For a successful Bonsai Bar class, we require a 30 to 45-day window from ticket launch to event day. As a hosting venue, you’ve committed to being an active co-marketing partner, and your participation in promotion, social media, and outreach is essential. We expect you to follow these steps to help ensure a great turnout.

Co-Marketing to achieve Sold-Out Classes

As soon as your class ticket link is launched, it is important that you take immediate action:

#1 Bonsai Bar will provide your venue with POSTERS to advertise your class. Please display these posters in prominent places, such as entryway doors and restrooms.

#2 Bonsai Bar spends a significant portion of our class ticket processes on advertising our classes, which means advertising for your brewery! Please be sure to provide our marketing team with photography and social media asset, and be sure to list our class on your website as soon as your class ticket link is launched.

#3 Please be sure that your Bonsai Bar class is mentioned WEEKLY on your social media.

#4 Please ensure your Bonsai Bar class is mentioned bi-weekly in your email newsletter to your fans.

#5 Please send out a training Email, Text Message, or Slack Message (Monthly) to all staff explaining what Bonsai Bar is to your staff. #6 You will frequently receive fresh Video Content for Instagram Reels and Tik Tok. Please push these into your social media channels on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Please make sure we have your SMM Social Media Manager Contact Info!

Bonsai Bar is a beginner workshop that introduces people to the amazing hobby of bonsai. When you take a class you pick out a tree, your very own pot and the teacher guides you through styling and caring for it. You learn how to care for it and take it home to love forever. If you register your tree it has a tree guarantee and they'll even replace it if you accidentally kill it. Bonsai Bar is incredibly poplar. They're in 12 states and growing all over the country. Last year they made over 31,000 tiny trees with guests in breweries!

Classes are typically 120 minutes.

Classes typically sell out with 24 - 36 guests. Many are first time guests so be prepared to WOW them so they come back to your venue!

Bonsai Bar clases add a lot of life and fun to your venue. The best place to host the class is right in the middle of your taproom, tasting room or bar. All of your patrons love seeing what's going on and will be happy to sign up to come next month! The joyful vibe is infectious.
